[sahughes-rpms 2] New: courier-imap-3.0.7-1

Hello everyone.

I am hereby announcing a new courier-imap RPM, which I made public last week.

courier-imap (Courier-IMAP) is a server that provides IMAP access to
Maildirs (only). It is fast and very popular, especially for use with
webmail applications.

I also announced this RPM last week via the (Japanese) squirrelmail-users
mailing list.

Changes include an added compile option for Japanese compatibility. Please
note that enabling of Japanese compatibility does not affect English use.

The changes in respect to the original courier-imap.spec file included in
courier-imap-3.0.7.tar.bz2 are listed in the changelog pasted below. (Some
blanks in the info section have been abbreviated to prevent the lines from
being folded.)

Courier-IMAP is an IMAP server for Maildir mailboxes.  This package
contains the standalone version of the IMAP server that's included in
the Courier mail server package.  This package is a standalone version
for use with other mail servers.  Do not install this package if you
intend to install the full Courier mail server.  Install the Courier
package instead.

- Added compile option for Japanese compatibility.
- Added variable flags for ldap, pgsql and mysql support, with RPMs
  built optionally. Made some build prerequisites conditional
  accordingly.
- Made init file start/stop script prettier. This standard output
  method (OK/FAILED) makes is easier to verify daemon behaviour at
  server startup and shutdown.
- Changed authdaemon directory to courier-imap (package name).
- Removed pid, pid.lock and socket files from package list. These
  files' status immediately change after daemon is started and makes
  RPM verification messy. Added script to remove these files when
  package is removed.
- Minor cosmetic spec file changes.

RPMs have been made available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (AS/ES) 3
[rh3], Fedora Core 2 [fc2], Fedora Core 1 [fc1] and Red Hat Linux 9 [rh9].
